Here are pictures of the Existe en Ciel circus solo, performed by acrobat, dancer and comedian Théo Touvet. The title of the show is a pun suggesting that something exists up in the sky, while sounding like the word “existential”.

MiscellaneaMany thanks to the Japan Foundation and the House of Japanese culture in Paris (Maison de la Culture du Japon à Paris) for the wonderful Fukami exhibition, held in the Salomon de Rothschild mansion. It was perfect from start to finish, with an amazing choice of works of art, a splendid venue, and a marvelous staging.

MiscellaneaOn July 15th, the French football team (psst.. talking about soccer here) won the FIFA world cup in Russia, causing scenes of jubilation in the streets, throughout the country. These provided pretty good pictures.
Love in Paris 2018

FIAC and more
MiscellaneaThe FIAC is the French international fair of contemporary art, which took place from the 19th to the 22nd of October this year. Most of the event happened in the Grand Palais, but it was accompanied by the usual outdoor exhibitions in public venues.
the Liberation
MiscellaneaA homage to general Leclerc was organized this October. It celebrated the man who became known as the liberator of Paris during the second World War for entering the city first, with an armored division, helped by the pressure of US and allied forces coming from Normandy.
Techno parade
MiscellaneaSince 1998, the Techno parade brings together lovers of electronic music and heavy beats for a dancing stroll through the streets of Paris. The pictures were taken at the end of the march, around Nation plaza, as the party was winding down (and before it started over again in night clubs).
First studio shooting
MiscellaneaI got myself a first studio experience ! There isn’t much research on the composition of the portraits below, the exercise was more about lighting. Still, they show the definition you can reach in such ideal conditions, and that’s amazing. I hope for more opportunities to practice with such equipment.
