the Liberation

Miscellanea

A homage to general Leclerc was organized this October. It celebrated the man who became known as the liberator of Paris during the second World War for entering the city first, with an armored division, helped by the pressure of US and allied forces coming from Normandy.

I usually do not use heavy color filters, but since the organizers made a nice effort to recreate the atmosphere of this year 1945, it seemed to be a fitting subject to experiment (with one exception, because I liked this colorful treat and because it definitely looked 2017).
