Kadamati

This giant choreography signed by Akram Khan, in association with the théâtre du Châtelet, brought together over 700 dancers of all levels in front of the Paris city hall. Many congratulations to them for the beautiful show, and enduring the crushing heat of that day.

Kada mati means clay soil in Bengali, evoking the idea of primal creation material.

The very specific dimension of this event led me to use a 2:1 picture format for the very first time. The idea behind it is that it can always be split into two of my usual 1:1.
