The missing bodies

CMA

Here is the final excerpt of the CMA sessions. The (rather cryptic) theme this time was : body and narration. The goal was to create a story with a succession of 4 – 6 photos.

My initial idea was utterly mystical, involving the idea of transubstantiation (no less !) and the various mysteries surrounding the notion of “body” in Christian tradition, to work on a more symbolic level. This explains why I wanted to shoot around a church (and in this case Saint-Ambroise, in Paris).

However, (very) limited time to finish the exercise eventually changed the project to something drastically simpler. I was told it still wasn’t very understandable : I agree. Nonetheless I hope the succession of pictures still conveys feelings.

You’ve probably recognized my CMA muse ; thanks to JM.
